Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn has been an actress for more than 20 years. She is best known for her part as Skyler White in the AMC show Breaking Bad for which she received the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in an Drama Series in 2013 and 2014. She was Jean Ward and Martha Bullock as well in The Practice. Anna Gunn was born in Sante Fe New Mexico, in 1968. She fell in love acting in the Preparatory school, after which she moved to Ohio with her family in the late 1970s. She attended theatre classes through Northwestern University and spent a semester at the British American Drama Academy. Anna performed in Chicago's theater for a number of years before trying out for film and TV role. Anna got her first major part as Arden as Arden when Down the Shore aired 29 episodes in the year 1992. After appearing as a Guest Star in several TV Shows and movies, including Seinfeld and NYPD Blue in the 90's and was later chosen to play Jean Ward as part of The Practice. The mid-2000's saw her was cast in Deadwood in the role of Martha Bullock for two full seasons. Skyler was in Breaking Bad (2008). Sully was also one of her characters. Gunn played in David Schwimmer's Sex With Strangers, a production that was directed by David Schwimmer. Gunn was in the role of Numbered Days, a four-part audio show that premiered that will air in 2022. The romance with Walter White and his wife Skyler is usually the main focus of the story on Breaking Bad with the strained connection between them and eventually its demise mirroring the same arc of Walter White's final years of his life.
