Taylor-Swift

Taylor Swift, in full Taylor Alison Swift (born December 13th, 1989 West Reading Pennsylvania U.S.) American pop and country music singer and songwriter, whose stories of young heartache achieved widespread recognition in the beginning of the 20th century. Swift developed an interest for musical instruments as a young person and soon progressed from performing in kids' shows, before making her first appearance the front of a crowd. Swift started writing songs in the teen years. She performed The Star-Spangled Banner for a Philadelphia 76ers basketball game. Taking her inspiration from popular country artists like Shania Twain and the Dixie Chicks (now the Chicks) Swift crafted original music that was a reflection of her experience of being a tween and feeling alienated. Swift's family moved to Tennessee from Pennsylvania when she was 13so she could spend longer pursuing country music labels in Nashville.
